Looks: False Lashes
I don’t know about you but I have always been fascinated by false lashes…probably cos I was born with crappy non-existent wimpy permanent pointed southwards stumpy short lashes that defy curling from lash curlers. But since I am visually challenge…I cant see without my glasses…I haven’t dared to venture into applying false lashes…imagine all those scenarios that can occur?? especially when there’s glue involved??
If anyone is interested in creating unbelievable lashes, do check out this video. Ricebunny’s video also gives step by step instruction on applying false lashes. Might I also add that Ricebunny is hotness personified!!
In case you are still skirmish about applying false lashes yourself…have you heard of Shu Uemura’s Tokyo Lash Bar?? All you do is purchase one of the false lashes and the trained Shu Uemura staff will apply them for you. The staff are trained to help pick out suitable false eyelashes, followed by showing one how to apply them so as to fully bring out one’s eyes. Furthermore, the lengths can be customized to suit your eye shape and length.

The Shu Uemura Tokyo Lash Bar boasts a huge collection of different false lashes ranging from the lashes that look natural and sexy to lashes studded with crystals and sequins. For the more adventurous, check out the lashes that look similar to butterfly wings or funky coloured ones that come in blue and yellow.
For this Christmas, crystals, feathers and lace are trendy now. So might I suggest the:

Have fun with your falsies!

Dear Nutty,
Yes, they are definitely reusable. The ones you get from the really drug stores, usually have really thin bands, so it’s a little more tough to reuse those. It doesn’t seem to hold its shape after you take them off.
The Shu’s of course, have thicker bands and can be reused. There was an episode of Oprah where she told everyone that YES, even she reuses her lashes! There’s no reason in tossing them, if the shape is still good and the glue is cleaned off.
As I mentioned before, the glue becomes like rubber, so you can gently take it off with a pair of tweezers. Many ppl like to use eye make up remover to dissolve the glue. Final tip: if you plan on reusing your falsies, don’t apply any mascara on them!
Happy Holidays!

Hello Nutty,
Lashes are so fun, you must try! To remove lashes, all you do it gently peel the false lashes off. It does not hurt at all. The glue turns into a rubbery texture. It’s just temporary glue, so don’t worry about them being stuck on your eyes. Actually, a lot of people have problems with keeping the lashes on!
Why?
The glue provided with some lashes are horrible! They will only hold in place for a short amount of time. We’re always blinking our eyes and so it can make the false lashes come off. It’s usually the edges that will start coming up, and your look will be ruined!
Don’t worry…
The glue you use to apply them, gets a little tacky, then you have place it right above your lashes. It would take a really clumsy person to jam the false lashes in their eyes!
Tips…
On one of your days off, just go try to apply some on. If you mess up, just take it off and try again another day. I wouldn’t do it right before a big event! Practice first, then get comfortable with it.
Hope this helps!!!!

Hi happy

Falsies are the best! I only wear the Shu Uemura ones because they look the best! For Asian eyes, it’s best to choose patterns that are more full. It really makes your eyes look sexy, dramatic, and flirty.
Perfection takes practice, but try using tweezers to apply them. I usually apply my eye shadow, black liner, curl my natural lashes, and then put the falsies on. Don’t be scared!!! Just give it a try, you’ll love how they look.
I always wear Luxe from Shu Uemura and I get tons of compliments at dinner and especially when I’m out on the town.
Hi happy!
Your experience with false lashes make it sound so easy!! How do you remove the lashes??? Are they really difficult to remove since you are using glue to glue the lashes on??
Thanks for visiting and posting!
Have a great weekend!

Woah the sequins falsies are so cool~ Geesh falsies are my biggest pain, haha, I’m too lazy to apply them.. and the glue makes my lash line itch. Haha.
Hey Fuz
Yes…those falsies are really cool!! Oohhh..perhaps you have allegies to the glue?? I have no courage to glue anything near my eyes at the moment! Will probably have to rely on just mascara!
Thanks again for stopping by!
