Thoughts: The Body and Hand Body Lotion comes packaged in a plastic bottle with a black screw cap. They do have black pumps that fit into the bottles nicely but I cannot remember if the pumps are complementary.
The texture of this product is difficult to describe. Although it is called a lotion, it isn’t runny or watery. It behaves more like a lightweight mousse – crème. Application is a breeze, its easy to spread and absorbs into the skin without any hint of greasiness. it leaves skin soft and silky.
Currently, I find the moisturising benefits okay for weather which is hot and humid. But I doubt that the moisturising benefits are sufficient for winter or for environments where the air is drier.
The scent from the Body and Hand Lotions is amazing! I usually have to mix my Jo Malone body lotions with other non-scented body lotions for moisturising my entire body because there is no way I can use the lotion on its own for my entire body. If you do, you will gag because it is very, very, very heavily scented. The Jo Malone body lotions and body crème are actually much more heavily scented than the colognes. The scents in the body products also last much longer than the colognes too. It would be great for layering purposes. The lotion smells exactly like the cologne and would help intensify the scent. alternatively you could mix and match the lotion with other cologne scents to create your own bespoke scent.
No experiences of skin irritation. But these are very expensive and the scents available in the Body and Hand Lotion range are limited. Not all of the cologne scents are available in the Body and Hand Lotion. The cologne scents are available either in the Body and Hand Lotion range or the Body Crème range. I do notice that Jo Malone tends to discontinue some scents in the Body and Hand Lotion range from time to time. I have French Lime Blossom in the Body and Hand Lotion Range which is no longer available! 
Jo Malone seem to be creating the new cologne scents only in the Body Crème range which is a pity cos there are customers who prefer the Body Lotion!
Verdict: Highly recommended if looking for a luxurious scented body lotion.
