The evening gowns that the Duchess of Cambridge wore for formal events in the past one year…

- October 2011: a private dinner at Clarence House in aid of the charity In Kind Direct – one of The Prince of Wales’s charities. Love the colour…
- December 2011: Attending The Sun Military Awards at The Imperial War Museum in a black velvet ruffled gown by Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton. Lots of comments about the similarity to a black ruffled gown Princess Diana wore. Am more interested in her jewellery truth be told…
- June 2011: First formal event attended as a couple. The 10th annual Absolute Return for Kids (Ark) Gala Dinner at Kensington Palace wearing Jenny Peckham Embroidered and sequinned rose gold gown. One of my favourites!

- January 2012: Alice Temperly black lace gown for War Horse Premier. Didnt like the black edging around her hips
- October 2011: Beulah full length red gown at St James’s Palace for a Charity Gala Evening hosted by 100 Women in Hedge Funds. A bit too va-va-room for me.
- November 2011: Jenny Peckham silvery grecian one shoulder gown at St James’s Palace for the National Memorial Arboretum Appeal. Love the colour and how floating the dress looked in pictures
