Shiseido The Skincare Purifying Mask Review

SHISEIDO The Skincare Purifying Mask is described as “A creamy, rinse-off facial mask formulated with Marine Mineral Clay to absorb dulling surface sebum and impurities. It will leave skin visibly refined and refreshed. Reveals radiant new skin for a more youthful look. Contains a unique combination of highly-porous Marine Mineral Clay, kaolin, and powder ingredients to absorb surface sebum and impurities and minimize the appearance of pore.”

Thoughts: Comes packaged in a white tube with flip-top cover. The creamy product spreads easily over cleaned skin. I leave the mask on for 10mins. The mask does not dry up on the face so you do not get the tightening effect as some mud masks does. Warm water makes the mask easy to rinse off.

After application, my skin feels refreshed. Blackheads are lesser than before but some are still present on the skin. Redness caused by my facial extraction are slightly muted. Pores are generally cleaner but I can still see my pores.

Suggested use is once a week after exfoliation but if your skin is pretty oily, twice a week should be fine.

Verdict:  Perhaps best for sensitive or drier skin since the mask doesnt dry up on the face.

  1. This product is just wonderful. The Bio Corrective Complex aids in the skin’s exfoliation process and provides intense moisture. Over continued use, your skin will look more youthful as this formula also helps to optimize collagen and counteract the look of wrinkles.
