Laneige Pore Minimizing Pack Review

LANEIGE Pore Minimizing Pack is a “clay mask pack which gently spreads on skin with a cooling action, quickly dries to tighten up pores, and is easily removed with a little bit of water. It is formulated to prevent blackheads. Contains Mineral-tox™ (White clay and Morocco clay (Ghassoul)) which helps to purify skin, absorb excess sebum, and eliminate dead skin cells to smoothen skin surface. Pore Purifying Complex removes toxins and impurities that are around your pores and strengthens your defense system against Pore-related troubles.”

Thoughts: Comes packaged in a blue plastic flip top tube. Texture of the product is thick and creamy. Product doesn’t seem to spread easily because of the thick texture. There is a very strong flowery scent to this product which does dissipate in a couple of minutes.

Upon application, the mask dries very quickly. It is marketed as a mask that takes about 3-5 minutes to dry. When the mask dries, your skin will start to feel taut. I would not recommend laughing because it is slightly discomforting. Perhaps it has to do with the tightening action of the mask but I do feel that my pores are less noticeable with this product. Blackheads are also less noticeable with regularly use of this product.

While this is great on my combination skin (oily t-zone, dry cheeks), I think using this twice a week tends to dry out the skin on my cheek area… if you only have blackheads/open pores in your t-zone & sensitive dry cheeks, I suggest applying the mask only in that area.

I wouldn’t recommend this is product if you are sensitive to fragrances or do not like masks that tighten.

Verdict: Great mask for tightening pores.
