Went shopping today at Boots along Oxford Street and Selfridges…

Selfridges
I hit the Trish McEvoy counter and there’s a beauty event on the 12th of March. Trish McEvoy is actually coming to Selfridges and a private room will be booked for the beauty class. Maximum participants of 30 people per class. You get a one on one with Trish and her team of makeup artists from USA. There’s a booking fee of£75 which is fully redeemable. Apparently there’s champagne and goodie bags at the event as well!! According to the Sa, every time there’s an event, there’s 20 regulars who will always turn up…so if they keep going back for the events, am sure it must be pretty successful!! In case March 12th isnt a suitable day for you, do check out the Harvey Nichols counter…there’s usually an event held there too.
Next went to Kiehls to pick up the drawing paste because I am breaking out with red spots (am guessing its stress)!! May i say the Kiehl’s staff was really really unfriendly and might I say I was really pissed off!! I mean when people go shopping and after spending all that moolah (ie$$) you would want to feel great but I totally felt like crap after spending all that money at the Kiehl’s counter!!In the future, I will make my way to Harrods to shop…even though its slightly out of the way for me!!
The La Mer counter has a Miraculous Beginnings set that is a really good buy (you get a full size la mer cream for the normal/dry set). Costs£230 per set. There’s two versions – one for normal/dry skin another for oily/combination skin.

Saw the First Blush Collection at Laura Mercier…the First Blush palette is gorgeous!!! (review coming up for this)
Last stop was Suqqu…especially after Betsy from Autumn Masquerade told me their base makeup was great! Really wish I hadn’t went that direction…the eyeshadows are drop-dead gorgeous!! Very very very soft and creamy and seriously pigmented!! Their lipsticks were so creamy and pigmented as well!! I fell totally in love with their face brush…it was so so so so really really really soft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it costs…I so hope you are sitting down for this or not drinking anything…160 POUNDS…yes!!!!!!! 160POUNDS!!!!

Bad Bad Bad Bad idea to venture there…am now interested in several eyeshadow sets!!! Yul (the Japanese sa was really really polite and very friendly), the other sas totally put me off purchasing stuff!!! According to Yul, the spring/summer collection should be here in march…
Was gonna leave Selfridges after that but I came across Bumble and Bumble!!!!!!!! And I spied all the travel size shampoos, conditioners and styling products!!!!!!!
