CHANEL’s L’ete Papillion collection is inspired by the “The dazzling colours of butterflies inspire a joyful look for face and fingertips with the enchanting Summer collection. Lashes flutter in electric shades of mascara and eyelids are adorned with gleaming colours. Nails and lips complete the effect with shades of sunlit brilliance.”
Hello and welcome to the Duchess’s Wardrobe: A Review. In this post, you will find the links to my various reviews on the items in the Duchess of Cambridge’s Wardrobe.
Since covering the Duchess of Cambridge’s fashion style in the past 2 years, I too have accumulated some of the items she has in her wardrobe. However, while I discovered there were a lot of posts documenting what she wore, there were very few reviews on the actual items themselves. In particular, there was a lack of reviews on whether the items would fit a gal who’s not tall and skinny like the Duchess. Hence the idea of a review on the Duchess’s wardrobe was born…
Needless to say, I do not have the financial capabilities to purchase Alexander McQueen or order bespoke and not everything the Duchess has worn is available in my size …so the reviews on the Duchess’s wardrobe will be selective.
I sincerely hope these reviews will be of help!

The posts shall cover the accessories she wore, her jewellery and her attire. It’s not possible to cover every item that she wears…so my posts aren’t an extensive catalogue. The posts will also not be covering her fashion moments in her trip to Canada/America which can be found here.

THE DUKE and DUCHESS of Cambridge spent 11 days travelling Canada and the USA during the month of July. For eleven windwhirl days, the Duchess of Cambridge also known as Catherine Middleton kepts us glued to our seats in anticipation of her next wardrobe change. Might I say that the Duchess has not failed us at all and has provided us with lovely wardrobe changes for the eleven days of her first offical overseas tour as a Royal.

I hope you enjoyed these series of posts.
YEARS ago, as a kid, I watched with fascination as a pretty girl whipped out a glossy black compact and proceed to touch up her makeup in a crowded train…intrigued I peered a little closer and saw a separate compartment for a sponge placed next to a rectangular shaped powder which had the letters ‘ZA’ embossed on them. When she closed her compact, with a discernible click, inter-linked white ‘C’s greeted me. At that moment, I decided… someday when I grew up, I was going to own one of those glossy, chic and classy black compacts…
