When I heard that Singapore was gonna have their very own Sephora, I was sooooo excited!! I thought finally I could get my hands on hard to find brands such as Smashbox, Trish McEvoy, Cargo, Duwop, Tarte, Philosophy, Nars at much cheaper prices than the UK or US/ Sephora exclusives!!
Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed when I visited the store at Ngee Ann City…apparently I am not the only one. Check out Haru’s post.
The Sephora in Singapore stocked mainly departmental store brands such as Lancome, Clinique and Dior. Am guessing most customers would stick to their regular departmental hunts which often give 20% discounts or gift with purchases… Compared to the UK, the prices were not any cheaper…the Too Faced Borderline Anti-Feather lip pencil costs SGD 34…its GBP 11 (SGD24) at Boots UK. I think I will continue to shop in UK boots where I can actually get free stuff once I collect sufficient points from my previous purchases…
The pluses – Becca is now available in Singapore (previously it was only available at Changi Airport’s Terminal 3) and if you are a fan of Bliss, their skincare products are available too.
Happy Reading!

I believe another Sephora has open at Ion Orchard, a new shopping centre in Orchard Road. It is reported to be the largest Sephora store in Asia. Please check out makeup stash’ s comprehensive review.
