The Duchess’s favourite off duty shoes are the Henrietta style by French Soles. My review on French Soles Ballerinas is available here.
The Duchess wearing a pair of French Soles
One can find the ballerina style footwear in the different brands of shoes. In London, besides French Soles, the other two well-known brands for ballerina flats are Repetto and Pretty Ballerinas. Pretty Ballerinas is the focus of this post.
Pretty Ballerinas opened its first boutique at 34 Brook Street in Mayfair, London in February 2007. Their shoes have been sold online since 2005. Although the shoes have been recently sold as Pretty Ballerinas, they are manufactured in the same village on the Mediterranean island of Menorca by the same family since 1918. Pretty Ballerinas is known for its huge array of styles and colours and the unusual way materials are combined.

The Duchess of Cambridge has carried LK Bennett’s Natalie Natural Clutch very often. The pictures below show her carrying the natalie clutch during her USA/Canada Tour in 2011.
Natalie Natural Clutch is described on LK Bennett’s website as:“Natalie’s diminutive shape, hard-side construction and neutral leather covering make it a great addition to any wardrobe. This versatile piece easily coordinates back to our neutral shoes and belts. Coveted by some of the world’s most stylish women, Natalie is your new essential clutch. Available in Natural Leather.”

The Duchess wore a navy Jenny Peckham dress for the 100 Women hedge funds in October 2013. My original post detailing the gown is here.
Adrianna Papell’s Draped Mesh Gown is fairly similar with its v-neckline and sheer sleeves.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a teal lace dress by Jenny Packham at the Olympics Gala concert in 2012.
That gown made headlines because firstly she had her hair in an updo! Secondly it was much more sexy than what she had worn before. Click here to view more on her fashion style in 2012.
Todashi Shoji has a similar gown called Crinkle Chiffon and Lace Gown with Jeweled Belt in Blue Stone. The gown is described by Todashi:“Exquisite draping on our chiffon and lace gown beautifully accentuates your figure. A hand-beaded inset on the attached belt sparkles at your waist. Lace inserts on the sweetheart neckline, bodice side and cap sleeves add a feminine touch.”
This gown is also available at Neiman Marcus and called the Lace Sweetheart Neckline Gown. The Gown is described as:” Lace and pleating take center stage on this Tadashi Shoji gown. The elegant lace neckline frames face and shows off your decolletage. Add a silver bracelet and metallic sandals to complete the look. Crepe de chine and lace. Lace sweetheart neckline. Cap sleeves and yoke add shrug-like effect. Bodice of pintucked bands and lace is fitted to waist. Waist defined with beaded band. Knife-pleated, A-line skirt; back zip. Silk with polyester lace and lining.”
