Product Description from Neiman Marcus:

This high-potency treatment saturates the skin with a wave of hydration, smoothness and conditioning, preparing it to receive and boost the transformational benefits of Crème de la Mer.

The Hydrating Infusion’s vital ingredients—vitamins, minerals, tourmaline and Hydrating Ferments—are suspended within a serum-like gel network. This interactive sea gel works with exclusive Deconstructed Waters™ to deliver extraordinary activity on demand.

An elaborate bio-fermentation process helps sea parsley and other precious seaborne ingredients infuse the skin with untold energy and hydration, awakening a healthy, resilient appearance.

Used with Crème de la Mer, the visible signs of damage are significantly reduced: lines and wrinkles begin to fade from view and a glowing appearance is revealed as skin’s look and feel take on a healthy new life.

My Review:

Dehydrated skin is different from dry skin. Dehydrated skin means your skin is lacking water. In order to check if your skin is dehydrated, look closely at the mirror and lift your cheeks up with a finger. If you see  horizontal lines on your cheek, it means that your skin is dehydrated.

My Skin: Extremely sensitive skin. My skin either turns all red is painful to touch and burns or stings, or breaks out in tiny white or huge red pimples all over the face if I use something unsuitable.  Combination skin – dry cheeks and oily t-zone.

Price:£75 (125ml)

The Packaging: Comes in a plastic bottle with a pump.

The Formula: A viscous texture. Very spreadable and easily massaged into skin.

Additional Tips

The sa (sales assistant) says I can skip the use of toner if I am using this serum. So its cleanse, Hydrating Infusion, moisturiser. (Another reason to purchase this – it helps save the $$$ spent on toner!! Haha 😆 )

There were a couple of days when it was really really hot and humid and I only used this as my moisturiser cos I couldn’t be bother to put any thing heavy on my skin. It provided moisturise for that couple of days.

This baby also works great after makeup application!! A couple of times after applying powder on my skin, the flaky bits were emphasized, so i just dabbed some of this baby over the flaky bits and viola!!…the flaky bits disappeared!!

The Result

Skin is slightly sticky after application. But it dries completely after a few seconds. Does not hinder makeup application at all. Best of all, skin is plumped up with use of this product.  With continued use, the horizontal linesfades away. My mom loves this because  she swears it helps her remove some of her uneven patches and spots!

Very highly recommended if you have dehydrated skin.

Hope this helps!

  1. Love your blog 🙂 you should try the refining facial wash. It’s a scrub plus mask. Make your skin soft.
