Triple Awards…

I’ve been nominated for the Triple Award! I wish to thank Betsy from Autumn Masquerade for the nomination and am very flattered and honoured considering my blog is relatively new!

The Rules:
1. Put the logo on your blog or post
2. Nominate at least 10 blogs which show great Attitude and/or Gratitude!
3. Be sure to link to your nominees within your post.
4. Let them know that they have received this award by commenting on their blog.
5. Share the love and link to this post and to the person from whom you received your award.

According to the rules, the nominees are suppose to nominate further bloggers…which is funny considering how I actually did have a post on my favourite websites sometime back in November featuring the blogs and makeup website i check regularly …but since then I have found a couple of others that I check out regularly…

My nominees in no particular order are:

A Touch of Blusher – PJ gives short concise reviews of Asian and Western Brands. Has great posts especially on where to shop for beauty products in Japan, London and Taiwan.

Autumn Masquerade – Betsy gives great reviews on beauty items from Asian and Western Brands as well. Has great pictures of products including instructions on application of products.

Fuzkittie – Works in the IT industry but is so not your typical IT geek. Rather she reminds me of those taiwanese starlets. Has great reviews on her products and check out her outfit posts! Gorgeous!!

Lotus Palace – Great website on Korean and Japanese skincare and makeup with detailed photos.

Makeup and Beauty Blog – Karen has reviews and pictures of products and how they look on her. Specialises in smokey eye looks. Do check out her step by step posts on how she creates her smokey eyes. Totally enjoy her amusing posts.

Musings of a Muse “A blog of musings from a cosmetic whore” is her tagline. But frankly, I love her detail reviews on beauty products including pictures and how the product looks on her.

My Makeup Reviews – Jojoba writes really scientific reviews on beauty products she has used. Contains loads of pictures of products, swatches and comparisons of similar coloured products.

Rouge Deluxe – Rouge Deluxe is the place to go for information on Japanese brands. Best bit is its all written in ENGLISH!!

The Next Best Thing to Going Shopping Yourself – Name is quite a mouthful but it really does say it all. If you cannot go to the stores yourself…you need to head over to this blog because it contains pictures of all the swatches of beauty products. Karla accepts requests for swatches of items too. Really helpful if one can only purchase items on-line.

15 Minute Beauty Fanatic – Quite an interesting blog that only suggests products that can be used within 15mins of makeup application. Good for people who dont have alot of time to get ready (like the blog owner) and people who like to sleep in!

Makeup for Life – An interesting blog with a section on makeup specifically for Asians and Makeup breakdown from fashion shows and red carpet events

I hope you enjoy checking out these blogs as much as i do!

  1. Aw Nutty! TY so much!! ❤ ❤

The shimmer in the shimmer bloc is not chunky at all, it’s VERY fine and just gives you a really amazing glow! :] I use it as blush, the Orchid one has very nice colors, the purple hue actually looks quite rosy on the cheeks. :]

    1. Hi Fuz

not a problem…i love your blog so it should be nominated!!

ahhh…thanks for the description on the shimmer bloc…I hope it is not limited edition…i still have to decide between the gilded garden shimmer bloc or the wild orchid shimmer bloc…

      thanks for dropping by!
