CHANEL has created the Soho Store makeup collection to celebrate the reopening of the Soho boutique. The boutique is located in one of Manhattan’s trendiest neighborhoods which inspires a decidedly modern palette of nudes and pinks, as well as cult-worthy steel-greys. Translated to plain english…“It’s absolutely drool-worthy!”
Needless to say, the whole collection is all limited edition…
Soho de Chanel
This blush-and-powder palette, comprised of light plum, pink-ivory and soft pink shades for highlighting the face and décolleté.
Nailpolishes in Steel & Strong
Also available in this collection:
Rouge Allure Laque – Stunt
Rouge Coco – stunning
Eyeshadow Quad – Stupendous
Since this collection is meant to celebrate the Soho re-opening, you can purchase this collection from the Soho store or online.
Thoughts: Although the nail polishes look scrumptious in the bottles, I have a feeling the beautiful shimmers wont translate onto my nails and I am left with nothing but a dark grey and dark purple nailpolish… The eyeshadow quad looks gorgeous – i spy a taupe shade paired with a lovely pink and grey… the Glossimer called Star! What a nice name!! I wonder if this collection is worth begging for a custom purchase from the states?? Perhaps this collection might make it to our shores some time later in the year??
UPDATED (September 28 2010): For UK readers, the Chanel Soho Story collection will be available exclusive to Selfridges from October 15 2010. Perhaps you might wish to dial 0207 318 3662 to reserve items. For ladies in Asia, I suggest calling up your local Chanel counters. I understand that the Soho Story Collection is launching on the same day as the new Vitalumiere Aqua foundation – October 1st.
