The third day of the 2011 Canada Tour.
JULY 2, 2011
At a tree planting ceremony the Duchess wore a tailored grey dress by Catherine Walker for the couple’s third day in Canada.
She accessorized with a pair of drop earrings by Links of London called Hope Earrings which were also worn when she took her official engagement photos. (featured here). A grey Hobbs Somerton clutch and grey snake-print Tabitha Simmons courts rounded up her look.
Her grey outfit was swapped for chef’s whites on arrival at the Institut de Tourisme et D’Hotellerie du Quebec.
Thoughts: Although some critics felt this grey shift dress was a tad boring, I love it! There’s nothing boring about this outfit. Did you notice the deep v-neck at the back of the dress? What about the cute sleeves and quirky collar? I love her snake-printed heels which in my opinion, jazzed up the outfit. Btw, I left out pictures of the Duchess in white chief’s uniform…didnt think it would be that helpful.
