The Duchess made her appearance at the BAFTA ‘Brits to Watch’ event in a custom-made full length pale lavender gown by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. The gown was sleeveless with a round neckline and pleated details. A glittering silver belt clinched in the dress at the waist.

On her feet, she wore glittery champagne-hued sandals called Jimmy Choo Vamp; $750 at Net-A-Porter.com. To match her shoes, she carried a matching clutch – Jimmy Choo Ubai clutch; $595 at JimmyChoo.com.

Thoughts: Two knock-out outfits in a day! I love, love, love the Jenny Packham silk dress!!! It is simple gorgeous and to let the dress shine, the Duchess paired the dress with simply accessories. For the black tie event, the Duchess was outstanding! Some might say the dress looked boring, but the demure neckline and pleating on the dress seem to fit the Duchess perfectly and the pleating made the dress drape beautifully and created lots of movement when she walked. The sparkly accessories created a gorgeous statement.
