La Mer The Eye Concentrate Review

LA MER The Eye Concentrate is described as “This concentrated, ultraluxe eye treatment quenches and conditions impressionable skin. The Eye Concentrate significantly reduces the appearance of dark circles and puffiness, lines and wrinkles, encouraging the eye area to look and feel healthy, supple and luminous as never before.

The Eye Concentrate is infused with three unique forms of Miracle Broth™: the original, a concentrated form and a new, encapsulated form designed to optimize continuous release to the skin. Known for its healing energies, the Miracle Broths™ infuses skin with the energy it needs to focus on renewal. The Eye Concentrate works in tandem with a specially-engineered, silver-tipped applicator which helps cool the skin, immediately improving micro-circulation. Rich in hematite, a naturally magnetic mineral known for its energies, The Eye Concentrate works over time to dramatically dissolve the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. The eye area appears healthy, more vital.

Improving clarity and discoloration, an exclusive marine ferment penetrates the skin with a powerful wave of activity. The appearance of discoloration and unevenness is dramatically diminished. Skin that looks tarnished and dull regains a healthy radiance and brightness as it is brought back to its most luminous center. Improving tone, The Eye Concentrate utilizes a wealth of precious marine and plant ingredients to help skin reinforce its natural support system. Skin that has lost its elasticity and suppleness is gently smoothed and toned, vastly reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Stamina and resilience are greatly restored. A wealth of antioxidants defends the eye area against future damages.

Dab a small amount and gently sweep onto the eye area with applicator morning and evening to ensure proper delivery of this potent treatment. Follow with Crème de la Mer.

Thoughts: Packaged in a tiny glass jar with an accompanying applicator which is heavy. The tip of the applicator is rounded and made of silver (that’s what the SA said). I honestly have not used the applicator…too lazy to have to clean one more thing…

The formula is light…I would describe it as a light creme. It is very easy to spread around the eye area. Used twice a day, I have not experience any milia. My eye area is kept fresh and moisturised. Best bit is this really works with dark eye circles…my dark eye circles seem to be less noticeable with this product. I also think this might be encouraging my eyelashes to grow… No comments on the wrinkles or lines because I have none at the moment.

The one problem is I cannot seem to finish using up one jar…it always ends up spoilt and I have to throw it away! Price is also very expensive…but then again most (if not all) La Mer products are pricy.

Verdict: This is one kicked-ass product. Great for lightening dark eye circles.
