Day 2 of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s 2012 South East Asia Tour – Singapore leg.
September 12 2012, Singapore.
Garden by the Bays, Marina South
Arriving at Garden by the Bays, Marina South. Dressed in white top (with a deep v neck) and full skirt in what seems to be embroidered cotton by Alexander McQueen.
Details of the embroidery on her clothing and the white belt at the waist. I was wondering if the Duchess would be wearing her hair up since the heat and humidity in Asia is terrible! The Gardens by the Bay in the day is way toooo hot for anyone…they should have schedule the visit in the evening when its a little cooler and the trees are lighted up.
Rolls Royce plant, Seletar
Strathmore Green, Queenstown.
Kate in a new change of clothes…I think its by Raoul…I think her hair’s starting to lose the battle with the weather…its looking slightly frizzy…
Raoul Tara Top and ivory silk in red and black cube heart shape print pleated skirt. This ivory silk knee-length pleated skirt has a mid-rise, and a black waistband with a hidden side zip fastening. Wearing her LK Bennett Sledge shoes in Light Taupe with diamond and pearl drop earrings from Annoushka.
Eden Hall, British High Commissioner’s Residence
Kate is wearing a chiffon blue, white and red pattern Erdem dress with loose-fitting sleeves & pleated skirt.
On her feet are LK Bennett Harper shoes in Light Taupe and carrying a grey clutch from Alexander McQueen.
Thoughts: While Kate’s Alexander McQueen’s white broderie anglaise dress is perfect for the weather, I think the deep v-neckline is slightly revealing especially when she has to bend down in certain suitations. Kudos to her for wearing Raoul which is a local designer but IMHO, that print is really retro. Love her dress that she wore at Eden Hall…so light and floaty. What are your thoughts on her dresses?
