The third day of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s South East Asia 2012 Tour whereby the couple spent their last day in Singapore and moved on to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Haha…Kate has finally caught on to the idea of using an umbrella! She’s wearing a Jenny Peckham dove-blue dress which features a button front bodice, three-quarter sleeves and pleated skirt. There’s lace overlay on the bodice and sleeves.
This marks the end of the Singapore leg for their South East Asia 2012 Tour. The couple shall be departing for Malaysia.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
On arrival at KL International Airport, wearing the same dress. Paired with her LK Benette Natalie clutch, Lk Bennett Sledges.
Istana Negara Palace, Kuala Lumpur.
Kate is wearing a white Alexander McQueen flowy dress that had a shirred detail at the bust and a sheer overlay that was covered with gold embroidery. The embroidery featured the Malaysian flower – hibiscus. She’s wearing Jimmy Choo Dart Strappy Sandal (identified by My Small obsessions). Silver pair at Nordstrom and this website (Please note I do not know if this site is legit.)
She is carrying a gold Wilbur & Gussie bag which I think is named Charlie and her jewellery is by Catherine Zoraida – Double Leaf Earrings and Spread your Wings (Scale) Bracelet. Check out the designer’s blog for more entries on Kate’s jewelleries here.
Thoughts: I am a little surprised at Kate’s wardrobe for this trip. It doesn’t seem as well planned as the previous trip 2011 USA/Canada Tour. IMHO, the dress she wore for Malaysia’s state dinner is too revealing. Look at how her hosts are dressed. She has also chosen several dresses/top that feature a deep v-neckline which will no doubt creates a slimming effect but does expose too much when she bends over to shake people’s hands or sign guestbooks. What are your thoughts on her dresses so far?
