Keira Knightley as Anna Karenina

KEIRA KNIGHTLEY is gorgeous! She has this classic natural English rose look that is so mesmerizing. In Anna Karenina, playing the title role, she is drop-dead mesmerizing in her no-makeup look.

The look for Anna Karenina was very sheer and light-reflecting with natural looking eyes.

Knightley’s make-up artist, Ivana Primorac shares her makeup.

Base: Chanel’s Vitalumiere Aqua and Vitalumiere Creme foundations mixed to create a darker shade for Keira, who needed to appear more olive-skinned for the film and the final veil of the make-up Le Blanc de Chanel.

Eyes: Chanel’s Le Crayon Khol in Ambre to elongate Keira’s eye and create real depth and Illusion D’Ombre shadows “I rubbed (the Khol) onto the back of my hand and then applied to the eye area with a brush to create very subtle shadow and also used it to create shape and real definition. I used the Illusion D’Ombre shadows in an aubergine and a taupe/amber colour for all of the female characters to create the nude make-up look.

Cheeks: CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine in Liberté “To do different types of flush, I used Armani cream blusher and sometimes Chanel lipstick as a blush. Lipstick gave it a very different look from a blusher because it has different translucency and slightly more gloss. Place a little bit on Keira’s nose, chin and behind her ear to create that flushed, flustered look. “

Lips:CHANEL Le Crayon Lèvres Precision Lip Definer in Rose Corail and Pretty Pink, CHANEL Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Colour in Venise.

Leaving you with a gorgeous still of the movie…

p.s: In case anyone is wondering, the jewellery is by Chanel and gowns were inspired from vintage Balenciaga gowns.,
