The Duchess of Cambridge wore an Alice Temperley dress with sheer black neckline and hem, featuring white embroidered flowers at the Post Olympics reception at Buckingham Palace.
Somerset by Alice Temperley has produced the Mesh Embroidered Dress. Described as: “Drawing on the Temperley signature attention to detail, this exquisite embroidered dress from our exclusive Somerset by Alice Temperley collection is crafted from elegant silk. Delicately designed in a feminine shape with a fitted waist for a tailored finish, it features subtle panelled detail on the bust for fit and shape and chic knife pleats at the waistline extending down the draped, fluid skirt. Featuring a stunning statement yoke that is shaped at join at the bust, it features bold floral embroidery in contrasting black and ivory on a semi-sheer mesh base. The round neckline is finished with a lightly stitched trim and the elbow length angel sleeves are adorned with gorgeous scalloped edging.”
Thoughts: While not exactly the same dress, it does feature similar features such as the shape of the dress and embroidery on the sleeves and neckline.
