For the first anniversary of Prince Guillaume of Luxemborg and Countess Stephanie de Lannoy, we take a look back on their special day.
On the morning of Friday October 19 2012, Countess Stephanie de Lannoy and Prince Guillaume Of Luxembourg attended the state reception at the Grand Theatre de la Ville de Luxembourg in Luxembourg as their last event as singles.
The Countess is wearing a berry coloured coat, scarf and pumps. She’s carrying a black bag and accessories with a diamond and amethyst drop earrings. I wish she did not have the ‘I Love Genie’ hairstyle but I totally love the floral bouquet that matched perfectly with her berry coloured suit!
In the afternoon at the Civil ceremony at the Town Hall, Place Guillaume II.
The Countess is wearing a tweed cream Chanel jacket suit with high collar and silver details at the edges of the jacket. There appears to be a plain ivory top underneath the jacket. She paired her suit with the classic Chanel handbag with mademoiselle lock and a pair of Chanel heels. She accessoried with a pair of diamond and pearl drop earrings. Once again, I wished she had done better with her hair! I did not like her bouquet this time, it look like salad to me…
The Bridal Party attended in matching shades of gold.
- Left: Prince Louis of Luxembourg and Princess Tessy of Luxembourg . Princess Tessy sported a beige satin Ralph Lauren number featuring a lace corset top. Unfortunately, it kinda look like there was too much going on with the lace top, satin skirt, suit jacket, textured belt and clutch.
- Middle: Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg and Prince Sebastien of Luxembourg. Princes Alexandra wore a gold Dior Jacquard dress and cropped jacket. It is pretty but the dress does not do wonders for her figure from the side profile.
- Right: Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg and Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg. The Duchess wore a shiny gold leaf creation by Elie Saab creation.
The gorgeous venue where the civil wedding was held.
There were flowers on the walls, on the table where the couple sat and also on the mantle (furthest photo on the right ). I think there’s too much greenery in the flower decorations…and the long ‘vine’ of green on the table looks like things would jump out any moment…
Stay tune for a look back on the rest of their events…
