The Duchess’s Wardrobe: 2013 November Files

A wrap up on the Duchess’s fashion style for the month of November.

November 7th 2013, Kensington Palace, Kensington High Street.

  • The Duchess recycled her LK Bennett red ‘Ami’ coat and arranged three Poppy Appeal poppies into a mini bouquet to pin on her coat. She’s wearing either a black skirt or dress under the coat (see second picture). On her feet are her black Episode ‘Angel’ court shoes.

November 10th 2013, Remembrance Day parade

  • The Duchess wore a black Noa Coat by Temperley London, accessorized with her Fairy Tale hat by Sylvia Fletcher for Lock and Company, her poppy brooch, Cornelia James Gloves with Bow  and pearl drop earrings by Annoushka.

  • The Temperley Noa Coat has clean angular shoulders, a nipped in waist and a trapeze flare at the hem. Made of satin quilted in a geometrical pattern and a viscose mix herring bone, it is an exceedingly sharp, timeless dress coat.


November 19th 2013, Only Connect, Pentonville Road

  • A visit to charity Only Connect wearing a brown Orla Kiely coat dress named ‘Birdie’, chocolate-brown suede Aquatalia ankle boots, chocolate-brown suede envelope clutch bag and Kiki McDonough Citrine drop earrings.


November 20th 2013, Clifford Chance in Canary Wharf, London

  • Attending the charity’s ‘Resilience and Emotional Strength in Schools Forum, the Duchess wore an  Orla Kiely navy pleated skirt and a navy jacket by MaxMara.  She accessorized with a pair of navy gloves by Cornelia James  Russell and Bromley navy suede Muse bag, Alexander McQueen navy heels and Annoushka pearl earrings.

November 28th 2013, SportsAid’s annual ball in London

  • The Duchess wore a black Templeton Dress accessories diamond bracelet and earring. with a red clutch bag and her Black suede almond toe  Jimmy Choo Cosmic suede black pumps .

  • The Temperley London Templeton Dress is characterised by an intricate laser cut design. Inspired by Renaissance stained glass, it is made of a taffeta style fabric and has a plain body with a detailed neck yoke, sleeve and skirt finished with a feminine scallop. Demure and slightlyAudrey Hepburn in feel, it has a nipped in waist, slightly exaggerated shoulder and full skirt. It is available in solid black or with a contrast lining that accentuates the laser cut design.,,,
